Not the best photo in the world, but this end section of pool fence follows an incline garden embankment to the back fence. I am considering in the future to replace the aluminium pool fence with glass panels, but don't want to waste expensive glass & footings where it is largely covered in foliage.

I would like to install a faux rendered wall. It may be textured paneling or cement sheet coated in acrylic render, but bear in mind it will be exposed to harsh sun, rain & wind and prolonged damp spell's in contact with foliage. Ideas & advice?
