Need help with kitchen cabinet
Comments (15)[houzz=] Here is another that uses the corner well. This also will help offset the lack of symmetry on the range wall as well. Your cabinet maker would need to work out all the measurements. The base drawers to the right of the range may need to be reduced in size to be the same as the ones on the left, which will also help balance the wall. This tall unit to the left of the range will help to balance the large pantry on the right. Where the below picture does not show it, you would have room to place a small matching wall cabinet to the left of the corner tower to balance and to balance out the space between the window. Then you can still have some type of unit to the left of the sink with the appliance garage, but it would not need to be quite as wide and would give some space next to the sink. Look at this more and see what you think. There are some very unique features to your plan. A very high level of customization and much thought has gone into it. It is going to be beautiful. Would love to see the final plan and pictures of the final product. Let me know if you want us to look further....See MoreBringing this house out of the 90's
Comments (112)Hi everyone, we have moved in! We didn't manage to paint before we moved and think we will go for a staged approach - above the wood panels first in a warm white then decide on the panels. I'm having a bit of trouble working out what kind of sofa to buy and how at arrange the lounge. All furniture except coffee table temporary in photos and would love some ideas!...See MoreIs a corner pantry old fashion?
Comments (10)I'd fire that kitchen design person lol. No such thing as a corner pantry being outdated. I would bet she is new to the biz and has no real clue. If you have the space, then go for it. I have a closet in my kitchen that is considered a pantry, but kinda wish it was just a large floor to ceiling cabinet. I have a base and wall corner cabinet that I started to use for mostly canned and dry foods and it works much better because it's closer to my stove. Whatever works for you the way you use your kitchen would be the way to go :)...See MoreColour experts, I need your advice.
Comments (3)I wish I could post links to pics of others' houses that are already on HOUZZ. Does anyone know how? I've been inspired by a project called "San Francisco Mid-Century Mix" on here....See MoreJuliet Docherty
