If you have a decent budget get a stylist, if you have a small budget make your mood board, source your furniture options to make it real, but hold buying, and get a Dulux colour consultant in. Their cost gets offset when you purchase Dulux paint,

My friends a painter and he said 75% of his work is now painting the whole house Natural White, walls, windows doors and ceilings and trim. Boring, and easier and I guess you get to add all the colour you want in your furniture and accessories and are not limited by the wall colour.
Does it work well with 8ft or lower ceilings having the same colour on ceiling and walls? I’m used to a lighter ceiling to help lift it.

Thanks for reply - I cannot stand everything white but builder of apartments would not do anything else, so it is up to us/me if i want colour. I was thinking maybe a light teal/green colour for one wall & maybe ceiling, but I seem to want to do a diagonal paint divide between dining & kitchen (Sort of a shadow effect??) it is really quite small & hubby has no imagination. The lounge seating opposite dining could then maybe be a peachy/cram/brown tone With teal tones in cushions. It is open plan dining/living side by side and small galley kitchen across top - if you know what I mean? also has black door & window frames and built in gas fire - everything else Paris White. N
