Greys would look good in these rooms. I wouldn't paint the paneling. Rather than a mirror over the fireplace a large scale painting would look good.

I reall like the current colors and your red roof. I think you can change the house colors and not change the fence color. Here is one example that is in a tan family: With a white trim and dark brown shutters, I think it would work. Here is another example of a tan shade: I also like this light grey with white trim: Would you consider a green base: Then chose either a brown or red for the shutter.

This coming summer we are painting, so at present my choice of colours are a dark grey roof, a warm green (not blue undertone) for main house, a buttermilk trim and a rusty red door? What do you think.

Looking for a exterior color makeover for my 1990's Queenslander. Color advice needed for new roof color and exterior paint color for this plaster-cladded beauty. Unfortunately, house has classic Karaka green window joinery that can't be changed/painted (not in budget). I have to maximize my small budget with a paint job. I have a nearby standalone garage that needs the same paint job. We will clean and treat the veranda posts a cedar stain and I hope to add some stonework accents when I find the money that would give the house some more curb appeal; but for now, need to paint roof and exterior house and inject some WOW!!
