Hello! My hubby and I intend on building our first home next year and are working to a $700k budget so can't go too lavish. I'm aiming for up-specs with user friendliness and good for a growing family. Would love any and all feedback!
Some concern with your laundry and living room entry door, this is a high traffic area and you have door collision. Would you consider flipping the laundry and having access from the garage? If not consider some folding doors instead.
For the ensuite layout I would switch the toilet and vanity but use the bedroom wall to house the vanity. Consider a sliding door shower.
Just wondering if you would square off bedroom 2, it seems the extra space in the master is wasted anyway. Bedroom 2 could put a desk there, another bed, just seems a bit more practical.
Main bathroom shower door. That will smash on vanity, and also it will be about 50 cm wide. Anyone over 7 yrs old would have to turn sideways to enter the shower..16 yr old 6 ft 105 kg teenagers may struggle ... IMO
