Well that is one rule that begs to be broken! I think a matte silver roof would look good....not weird at all. I don't think the house below looks "weird."

My thoughts would be yes if youwish to make areal feature or white to blend in and leave the tapware as the features, especially if you have no metal finishes in your bathroom. Without knowing anymore, my personal preference would be white. If you can't purchase you could get some powder coated. Lynn

My new kitchen will be light grey cabinets, white and grey stone bench tops. My current dining table is a clear glass top, black leather chairs with chrome legs/framing. I love these gold polished glass pendants for over my island bench but will they look okay with my dining suite or is it too different? I can go for the grey glass lights but they are quite opaque during the day.

Hi We are torn between a black and a white bathroom vanity. Here are the details of the bathroom: Large marble tiles on floor and up walls. With large round mirror above vanity One feature wall in charcoal hexagons Chrome tapware Concrete basin. We are wondering whether to put the basin on a white concrete top and white vanity front (safe!) OR Black vanity with either white or black top. Love the idea of a black vanity- I think it would really pop with all the grey/white in the tiles/basin etc but would it look odd with a white top (so 3 diff colours grey basin/white top/black vanity front) Better to have a black top? Anyone got an examples to show me? Thanks
