I love the look of the floor and read that it's luxury vinyl! Never would have guessed! Can you please give me some details about it? It would be perfect in Florida for sandy and wet feet. Thank you!
Certainly! There are several companies now that offer Luxury Vinyls such as Mannington, Mohawk, Karastan, to name a few. There are different qualities/thicknesses depending on budget and use. All can be installed either floated or glued down. I chose glue down with this particular project because it was going on a concrete subfloor and the type of use the floor is getting. All of the makers offer a multitude of looks from stone to wood and, like tile, can be varied with the installation pattern. For this particular project I chose a 'sandstone' look and had it installed on the diagonal for a true custom finish.
