If you want light instead of drama, then go for a very pale beige stone. It will echo stone colours in both the concrete and rocks...

My husband and I don't like the colour pink especially in the bedroom, I might go for a green bedspread and find a neutral colour for the walls. But any ideas are welcome. It isn't easy when it is your own bedroom.

For this before and after, these clients were interested in maintaining the integrity and character of the home but incorporating modern and traditional finishes. The house featured pressed ceilings in the bedroom, which gave the room a grand appeal. This feature was retained as it was beautiful and kept the character but paired it with a more contemporary bed to modernise the space, and changed the spatial layout.
