Anyone paired wood look vinyl plank with timber look tiles?

Am thinking of using luxury vinyl plank (glue down) in an oak shade in living/bedrooms with pale grey timber look tile in bathroom. Has anyone done this or is it too much wood look? Outside deck most likely going to be composite timber in dark grey. Any advice/pictures would be appreciated.

There are much nicer bathroom tiles than fake wood look, so to answer your question yes it’s too much faux wood.

Go for a contrast . As bigreader says -- a nice charcoal tile with rich veins , or a clean marble off-white , or basically anything , would be better in a bathroom . I can sort of understand vinyl planks , I can sort of understand wood-look tiles , I will never understand pairing the two -- fake on fake on fake IMO .

Agree with comments here. The other issue would be warm timber look against cool timber look- I can’t see this creating a unified feel for your home.
