Personally , i would have done the ceiling and the skirting and all the picture frames etc in a sharp white . If you look at the bathroom , you notice the vanity ( and the light on the ceiling ) , more than you notice the mirror frames or that cabinet or the ceiling moulding -- it all just melts together now IMO , with no real differentiation between anything .
As I said Belinda I spent 20 years in a 60s house decorated in the 70s with a chandelier like this one, and we had 2 chandelier sconces in the room too We hade blue and green wavy curtains and matching blue and green woollen lounge seating it was special. Have the lighting you like.
