Can you tell me the dimensions on the rebar? Height, width,, etc

I am about to create a cypress arbor. What did you use to secure it to the rebar? Would wood trellis work as well?

I used 1/2" rebar, 10' lengths, and bent them to shape. Mine were just there until the tree took on the form that I wanted. You can build a more elaborate arbor with wood, most certainly, but in my case, I wanted something that looked natural, that blended in with the tree branches, and that could be removed once the tree was shaped.
