Sanded merbau yellow flecks

Recently had deck sanded some merbau boards have yellow flecks. Put a clear coat of cutek. With a plan to use double black ash. I am just concerned it will still show up?

So you sanded then oiled deck and now wish to stain it?

You will need to check with the stain manufacturer. But the oil coating may limit the stain absorbance.

Oh and our merbau has similar flecking
