Use regular VJ panels or the waterproof version?

For those who've had VJ paneling installed in your home, does it expand much in humid/wet weather?

I'm only looking to put it on one indoor wall (behind the TV cabinet), but our house is at the bottom of a valley where some days are quite misty or humid. The guy at Bunnings was a bit vague when I asked him if it would be worth spending more on the wet area panels.

Wall is 4m wide x 2.5m high

Thanks!

    Hi Nicole,

I am not sure if you are referring to Interior VJ timber plank panelling or MDF sheet panels with V joint grooves cut into it like the product Easycraft. Either way, both these options will be suitable for an indoor application as a plant-on decorative feature wall lining behind TV. Just be sure to fix it securely and seal it.

There would be no need to use wet area panels.

    Hope this helps, Malcolm.

Thank you! Yes, I was looking at the VJ panels like Easycraft. OK that makes me feel more confident to go ahead and order. Thanks again :)
