Expansive Living Room Design Photos with Slate Floors and Porcelain Floors

Our bespoke interiors architecture helped create this open plan kitchen, living dining area briefed on lifting a mood from Armani Hotels.

Stunning Nolte German kitchen in an unusal 'T' shaped space combining a kitchen, living and dining area. The doors are a light grey/cashmere colur with the island in a genuine metal finish. Key features include a BORA induction hop with integrated extractor, corian worktops that run seamlessly with corian sinks, a Quooker Flex 3-in-1 boiling water tap, an L-Shaped breakfast bar, a full height Liebherr wine conditioning unit, Miele ovens, a tinted mirror splashback. In the family area, furnishings were kept simple but with strong styling lines, a bright red retro styled sofa with chaise end and a rug together with a statement Flos spun floor lamp and bright artworks, warm up the area. A limited palette of greys, creams, blacks and reds added drama to the space. The kitchen was designed to give a real wow factor. A dramatic 3.7m long central island wrapped in statement dove grey frosted glass was installed and under lit with LED strips. The island houses the double sink, with waste disposer, water softener, pop up sockets, induction hob with downdraft extractor and a breakfast bar at one end. An impressive bank of tall units sits against the back wall with 2 ovens, microwave, steam oven and a large wine fridge. At one end there are pocket doors that fold back to reveal, toaster, mixer and all paraphernalia that usually clutter the worktop. Un appartamento caratterizzato da un'ampia zona giorno fluida e flessibile e da una forte connessione tra indoor e outdoor. Il protagonista indiscusso del living è il comodo e accogliente divano a elle. All'angolo opposto troviamo la cucina realizzata, come gli altri arredi su misura, con toni neutri caldi che accompagnano i toni freddi del divano e delle superficie dipinte in verde petrolio. Verde che in altre nuances ritroviamo sul grande terrazzo, nella continuità tra interno e esterno favorita dalle grandi dimensioni del serramento scorrevole

Large Open Plan Living Room with Fireplace and folding doors to music room

Built on the beautiful Nepean River in Penrith overlooking the Blue Mountains. Capturing the water and mountain views were imperative as well as achieving a design that catered for the hot summers and cold winters in Western Sydney. Before we could embark on design, pre-lodgement meetings were held with the head of planning to discuss all the environmental constraints surrounding the property. The biggest issue was potential flooding. Engineering flood reports were prepared prior to designing so we could design the correct floor levels to avoid the property from future flood waters. The design was created to capture as much of the winter sun as possible and blocking majority of the summer sun. This is an entertainer's home, with large easy flowing living spaces to provide the occupants with a certain casualness about the space but when you look in detail you will see the sophistication and quality finishes the owner was wanting to achieve. ​

Luxury Eggersmann kitchen, designer and in stalled by Diane Berry Kitchens, stunning porcelain floor by Lapicida, kitchen furniture by Eggersmann, with Quartz worktops and Vibia pendant lights over the island. Diane not only designed the kitchen but also a feature fireplace, black and gold room divider shelving, bar area and a walk in pantry.
