The sitting room in this family home in West Dulwich was opened up to the kitchen and the dining area of the lateral extension to create one large family room. A pair of matching velvet sofas & mohair velvet armchairs created a nice seating area around the newly installed fireplace and a large rug helped to zone the space

Work designed and completed while working for another employer. The communal lounge and dining areas were designed to be a plush and inviting space, perfect for relaxing with loved ones. The colour palette was inspired by the stunning Keswick hills, bringing the beauty of nature indoors.

The brief was to create defined spaces on each floor that reflected the owner’s bold tastes and appreciation of the Soho House aesthetic. A ‘club’ style den was created on the raised ground floor with a ‘speakeasy pub’ in the basement off the main entertaining space. The master suite in the eaves, housed a walk in wardrobe, ensuite with double sinks and shower. Throughout the home bold colour, varied textures and playful art were abundant.

Ristrutturazione completa Ampia villa in città, all'interno di un contesto storico unico. Spazi ampi e moderni suddivisi su due piani. L'intervento è stato un importante restauro dell'edificio ma è anche caratterizzato da scelte che hanno permesso di far convivere storico e moderno in spazi ricercati e raffinati. Sala svago e tv. Sono presenti tappeti ed è evidente il camino passante tra questa stanza ed il salone principale. Evidenti le volte a crociera che connotano il locale che antecedentemente era adibito a stalla. Le murature in mattoni a vista sono stati accuratamente ristrutturati

Rock Star Family Home

While the hallway has an all white treatment for walls, doors and ceilings, in the Living Room darker surfaces and finishes are chosen to create an effect that is highly evocative of past centuries, linking new and old with a poetic approach. The dark grey concrete floor is a paired with traditional but luxurious Tadelakt Moroccan plaster, chose for its uneven and natural texture as well as beautiful earthy hues.
