Truly unique, this captivating seven-bedroom family home is a visual feast of arresting colours, textures, finishes and striking architecture – fortified by a playful nod to bygone design quirks like the 60s-style sunken seating area. Entirely open-plan, the ground floor kitchen, living, and dining space stretches out into a verdant garden through a wall of striking Crittall doors.

J'ai réalisé une rénovation partielle pour cet appartement, qui avait été refait récemment, mais qui manquait de caractère, de personnalité. Nous avons créé un petit cocon pour ce T2 de 27m2, à la décoration aux inspirations rétro et scandinave. Le traitement géométrique de la peinture crée le dynamisme qui manquait à cette espace. On retrouve la forme qui dicte l'aménagement et séquence l'espace, également avec le coin totalement noir de la cuisine, et la tête de lit suggérée par le bleu dans la chambre.

The living and dining space is opened towards the middle patio that goes out to the rooftop terrace. The patio opens from all sides creating inside outside feel.

A Victorian terrace with built in alcoves either side of the fireplace so to balance the space we added the same green to 'hug' around the sofa and make it feel warmer.

With hints of hygge decor, muted shades of green and blue give a snug, cosy feel to this coastal cottage. My client often worked from home and so a space-saving, wall-hung, fold-away desk was also installed.
