This beautiful apartment is built beside the iconic Barbican Centre, home to performing arts, contemporary music concerts, theatre performances, film screenings and art exhibitions. In this design we had a earthy colour palette, with a combination of light greys, brown and white. It's an amazing open apartment allowing lots of light into the living space.

Living space in a Hamptons style home. Gas fire place with stone surround. Built in cabinetry. Dark timber engineered floor. Vaulted timber lined ceilings. Stair case featuring dark timber treads with painted white risers.

The original & modern features in a heritage renovation needs careful consideration & custom creation to truly make the design sing. This home does just that, and more. Every period detail has been restored and custom details have been crafted to highlight the heritage beauty of the home. A custom staircase in tallow wood, tailor made cabinetry, restored windowed archways and decorative ceiling art, elaborate period skirting and wall panelling to white and brass lighting honours the beautiful original details in the home while giving a crisp finish that feels almost a little modern. Intrim supplied Intrim SK1172 skirting in 260mm high and Intrim SK1171 118mm architrave for the downstairs level, Intrim SK757 in 185mm high and 90mm architraves for upstairs and Intrim IN11 inlay mould inside the board and batten. L'objectif de ce projet était de réaménager l'espace et d'apporter des touches de couleur pour le personnaliser, tout en valorisant le charme de l'ancien. Le parquet rénové dans le double séjour amène de la chaleur à cette grande pièce de vie. La nouvelle salle de bain est très graphique grâce à la mosaïque blanche @casaluxhomedesign et son grand miroir qui agrandit la pièce. On a opté pour une cuisine toute en contraste, avec un plan de travail @easyplan en quartz noir, réhaussé par une robinetterie en laiton. L'entrée se démarque avec sa teinte chaude @argilepeinture et l'arche menant à la cuisine. Le résultat : Un appartement chaleureux et dans l'air du temps ✨

Durham Road is our minimal and contemporary extension and renovation of a Victorian house in East Finchley, North London. Custom joinery hides away all the typical kitchen necessities, and an all-glass box seat will allow the owners to enjoy their garden even when the weather isn’t on their side. Despite a relatively tight budget we successfully managed to find resources for high-quality materials and finishes, underfloor heating, a custom kitchen, Domus tiles, and the modern oriel window by one finest glassworkers in town.
