The living room has a new floor rug which helps to define this space and is soft underfoot. TV unit, and matching coffee table, easy chair, art work and plant in a wicker basket all add to the holiday feel in this unit.

Conception et fabrication d'un meuble TV pour une maison à la campagne à Maisdon s/ Sèvre (44). ​ Lorsque l’on choisi un téléviseur de grande taille, il est parfois difficile de trouver le meuble qui va avec. C’est pour cette raison que nos clients nous ont sollicité. Ils souhaitaient un meuble à la fois fonctionnel, élégant et intégrant la télévision à leur espace de vie. C’est donc en jouant sur les différences de profondeurs, les matières et un jeu de tasseaux courant jusqu’au plafond que nous avons réussi à créer un espace multimédia sans pour autant dénaturer la circulation de leur salon. Nous avons proposé ici un mélange de chêne, de fibracolor noir et d’un "MDF oxydé". Notre curiosité nous a amené à découvrir cette finition qui par sa très belle nuance d’oxyde appliqué par nos soins donne un grain particulier et une profondeur unique. La inspiración para elegir el estilo que le íbamos a dar al apartamento fue la conexión tan directa con la terraza y toda la luz natural que lo inunda. Apostamos por colores neutros, de inspiración natural, tierras, arenas, maderas y lo contrastamos con algún toque en negro para roper la monotonía de la gama. Le dimos especial importancia a las paredes y los elementos decorativos como las láminas del sofá o los lienzos del dormitorio. Pocos elementos pero bien escogidos y que combinaran entre ellos era la clave para acertar.

The owners of this stylish apartment in Hampstead wanted a dark high gloss statement floor throughout. They opted for this engineered oak floor that has been smoked rather than coloured, giving the timber its rich brown, conker like hues. The high gloss factory finish reflects the natural bright light emanating from the large arched windows and bounces it across the bright white walls of the apartments monochrome interior. Choosing a dark colour in a relatively small space is a brave move, but can be an effective way of creating a visually dramatic look.

Reclaimed oak from a local architectural salvage yard was purchased for the floors. The wall lights and armchair are vintage. The chair was reupholstered in Designers Guild velvet and a hand-printed cushion was designed in bespoke colours. Original ceiling beams and exposed brick chimney breast add texture. The items on the shelves were all found in local antique shops.

We sanded down the original hardwood floorboards throughout the property and added a lovely rich dark stain, making it both chic and cosy. The tongue and groove panelling really adds to the cosy cottage feel of the space. We replaced the fireplace hearth with warm limestone - both fresh and light. The furniture is mostly antiques. We opened up the wall between the living room and kitchen and created an archway with double pocket doors.

Durham Road is our minimal and contemporary extension and renovation of a Victorian house in East Finchley, North London. Custom joinery hides away all the typical kitchen necessities, and an all-glass box seat will allow the owners to enjoy their garden even when the weather isn’t on their side. Despite a relatively tight budget we successfully managed to find resources for high-quality materials and finishes, underfloor heating, a custom kitchen, Domus tiles, and the modern oriel window by one finest glassworkers in town.
