Bathrooms? I like the softer look of nickel.
For my bathroom on either side of the mirror. Shop for this online because there is a difference of about $50 between sellers. I think I also saw this at the San Pablo lighting shop (on the more expensive side). Aalso check quality and durability of finish.
Bedroom ceiling. Is it big enough? Only 14” wide, but it would really go with feel of the bedroom.
A bathroom scones for my bath.
This can be adapted for a sloped ceiling. It casts an ambient light but each of the four lights can be 100 w each. It is not dimable.
Chandelier?
Chandelier?
Would this be a candidate for our house or is it only for a dining table?
Would this chandelier work?
A two tiered, but narrower chandelier. 33” w x 33” T, 9 60w bulbs ( need to check what kind and if they will be readily available throughout the years. Ideally we could find and use led bulbs for any of the chandeliers...) dark bronze finish. Costs around $700.
By Currey, this is a really big chandelier at 40” wide by 42” deep. 12 60 W sockets, probably needs to be specially wired for heavy voltage. It is hand finished in black and I like the two tiered, delicate design. It looks like it would have been used in an early Berkeley Maybeck house with it’s old world rustic Renaissance references. It might be too big for our vaulted ceiling, but it also could be very dramatic. It is around $1500.
Dover Castle chandelier with six 60 W bulbs, 33” diameter, “chocolate” finish. Under $700. Have to see it, is it good quality?
It is 36 inches diameter, 35 inches tall, has 9 lights @ 60 W. The shades are etched glass with a center cylinder that is umber. It might make the light too dark, but if it doesn’t, it could be a warm glow. It is by Kichler. Need to check the quality.
Build a custom cabinet. This design makes great use of a shallow wall cabinet, storing the ironing board vertically behind a door that coordinates with the rest of the cabinetry. This allows the board to remain in the room where it will be used but ensures that it can be flipped up and tucked back into the cabinet when not in use.Find a cabinetmaker for your project laundry room ironing board ?
Love this look. Neutral color with white, but in a pattern.
Backsplash?
Tile for backsplash?
What about the shower tile as a backsplash in kitchen?
What our kitchen would look like with colored tiles. It is fun but I think quieter would work better.
This is more what our kitchen would look like with the fish scale white tiles. Have to think about grout colors though.
Another way to go. White counters, and a textural white wall that just opens up the space between upper and lower cabinets. It also is neutral enough that anything placed against it will make its own statement. Any of our dishes will go with it.
Kitchen backsplash. Looks beautiful with wood and the contrasting white of sink here. It would be both neutral and bold.
Backsplash. Like this mix of neutrals better, and especially like the contrasting band of small squares. It is all texture.
Example of a mix of neutrals. Looks a little blah here though.
Backsplash for kitchen? Might be too much color, but this particular mix would go well with most colors, though probably not the blue dishes. Maybe it would be better to stick with a mix of neutrals.
Backsplash.
17. Fish-scale pattern backsplash. If you’ve grown bored of subway tile but still want something simple and classic, check out a scalloped or fish-scale pattern. The look offers more movement, and a bit more interest, than rectangular tile but is still versatile enough to work with almost any kitchen style.
16. Trough or bucket sinks. These deep, wide and durable sinks are great for hardworking laundry rooms and busy kids bathrooms. And their rise dovetails nicely with the expected continued prevalence of a quieted-down modern farmhouse style. Half bath sink but built in?
Another shower idea list, including having enough water pressure and a tankless water heater for longer hot showers (Sharon!).
Shower fixture placement. Important!
Good article on shower design. Especially like idea of a pony wall next to bench for a supply niche rather than having shower products on display.
All white bath with beautiful wood cabinet and brass accents. The wood adds weight (I like the mid range color of the finish) and the brass fixtures also seem weighty. My bath?
Open but coordinated look between living spaces and kitchen.
Bathroom sink with wall faucets. Like the finish for the faucets too. What is it?
Sink for powder room.
Lights and chandelier..
Borders, fruit trees also as a border, pergola, beautiful.
Interesting color on cabinets. What’s the wood and finish.?
Warm monochrome color scheme.
An interesting TALL deer fence
Rug and couches—a look for us.

Floor for back hall? Too big tiles, too grey color?
Nice look for our house.
Cabinets are too formal, and the large black hood and wall of appliances feel too dark and hulking for the size of our kitchen, but this is the feel of one kitchen.
