MJR: we can do flat panel top drawers and drawers below with recessed panels. I might need to change the dimensions of a couple of drawers so there's enough difference between the top flat panel drawer and the drawers with panels below. We'll discuss. SM: Love the concept of these cabinets and pulls. Too large for me. Notice flat top drawer and then inset drawers on bottom. I like. Can we do that too? Do I have enough 3 drawers?

MJR: Not too industrial - I've used them and they looked good. As for that island counter - egads! Too thick. Yours will be the same thickness as the perimeter counters. SM: Seem a bit industrial? They look good here. My countertop is not going to be a thick at the island?

HATE. MJR: The cabinet knobs aren't good, but the rest of the kitchen is a disaster. Nothing goes with anything. : 0

MJR: Pls note that these cabinets have inset doors vs. the sleeker, cleaner, less traditional cabinets you're getting. I've used these pulls and they're quite traditional - good-looking but not right for yours, I think. SM: I like these pulls. Maybe hinging on too ornate. Looks good in this kitchen.

MJR: Ha! I know all these pulls and am amused by your comments. These are not for you. You're a rectilinear, sleek, girl, not kind of homey like these. I believe I've used these though. : ) Maybe in bronze. SM: I don't like these pulls. Too rounded. Hate the knobs.

I like the concept of these pulls. Long. Appear solid and sturdy. Notice top drawer with flat front. Not a bad definition?? Maybe we do something like that in pool house or is it too much in such a little space. Will the concept get lost?
