My VT Danby gets plenty of etches, and yes, you can see many of them, in daylight or evening.

It's almost been a year, and I finally got a chance to share pix of the etch.
The stain is gone, and i think the etch is ~5% less harsh/obvious.
But it all looks great under some pretty tulips. :)
New story:
Went to bed after hosting a party (see pix above: DH mixing chocolate martini).
DH rinsed out the wine glasses and placed them on the countertop (one DW was running, and the other was drying all the pots/pan/knives).
Well, this morning, I found one glass with wine ring. I started to get all crazy about it, but after a quick wipe with water/paper towel, the wine "stain" is gone.
I love my marble sealant. Reminds me that I should reseal soon.
