Don't like this kitchen at all-- but including it b/c the other pictures of the "Carmel Farmhouse" have some cool ideas

Here they align and it works because the kept the Island the same length as the range wall symmetrical cabinets. Look at the different views-- while it works very well, the island is too small.

Here they line up...but if you look at other views, I think the range and hood not only look wimpy b/c they're too small it also makes the wall of cabinets look messy instead of symmetrical.
