Nature's Gray. Gray in the kitchen is becoming very popular these days. Because kitchens are such a huge gathering place, use a gray that is warm and inviting. If greige looks too taupe to you, turn to nature for inspiration. Many birds and other animals, rocks and pebbles are perfect shades of warm gray. Paint Pick: Gray Horse 2140-50 by Benjamin Moore
Greige. A made-up color, but important enough to mention because I use it so much. A soft gray with beige undertones that is a perfect complement to most white marbles, such as Calacatta. It's a great solution for those who feel gray is too cold. This elegant bathroom is painted in my favorite greige, Benjamin Moore's Revere Pewter HC-172.
Notice black door and banister
Notice way stairs and banisters are painted
Like the black stripe
Clever to use a narrower vanity unit under the sink to help with room size
good splash back - glimmer gives it a sophisticated feel
Dark wood floor with white cabinets and black appliances
Spriped backsplash would tie in with striped stair carpet. Also good to use mat/shiney to reflect maximumlight (and glass door fronts)
Like this mosiac - would tie in with black doors/work surface
