interesting bathroom idea, but don't know if it's practical, or just pretty!

if there's a way to BLEND the indoors with the outdoors...earth and stone, balanced, a sort of TAOIST approach, natural, that would be great!
Q

another interesting bright kitchen
Q
Photo
that's a bright kitchen!
Q

that looks like an awesome bathroom, and also maybe too expensive, or not?

contrast can be strking and work well, or not, but may be risky for buyer's or renter's taste. I like some contrast.
Q

this is an example of what might be called a "sand" color that does NOT work for me! too neutral or something....
Q
Photo
another interestsing use of below staircase space. Combining this with the earlier storage example might be interesting.
Q

do curves mix with modern? if so, we like curves...
Q
Photo
interesting open floor plan with curved stairway
Q

how much would a lap pool with solar heating cost? and how much to maintain?
Q

I like these type stones..mixture of colors...enabling more flexibility with complements....open floor plan
Q

very interesting idea for storage!

striking rainshower

take out the furniture and light fixtures, and notice the stones and overall design...
Q

nice stones

I like this stone work. Notice how it blends with the flooring, but in most bedrooms, people might want carpeting
Q
Photo
something like this might work for the patio in backyard
Q

nice bright kitchen
Q

this is nice but very angular.... if it's possible to introduce curves and less boxiness, that would be great.
Q
Photo
very interesting bathroom, but no storage space!
Q
Photo
this is interesting with neutral colors, but don't like the flooring
Q

This gray seems to work fine, IMHO
Q

This is interesting. don't know how the fireplace underneath the TV works from a design standpoint. they tied the ceiling beams into the open entrance to the kitchen. Open floor plan.
Q
Photo
interesting use of wood beams... I wonder if there's anywhere we could get some from salvage....but don't know how it would actually look. Sometimes they look tacked on and don't fit the style
Q
Photo
another nice kitchen
Q

The gray sort of works in this picture. I don't like the lights or the patterned upholstery
Q
Photo
That's beautiful! But maybe too expensive bec of the natural materials...

I have reservations about a lot of gray. There seemed to be too much of it [for my taste] in Adam's house. BUT if we want a neutral color then we may need to shift to sand tones [earthy] and go with a bit more earthy aproach
Q
Photo
nice clean lines with light accented recessed spaces
Q
Photo
interesting mix of materials: stone, wood, tile to make a spectacular staircase

This kind of window might work nicely facing Georgina, but would need sheers for daytime privace
Q
Photo
another nice contrast betw neutral off white color and wood floor with a different design
Q
Photo
What's interesting abt this is the contrast between stark white and natural wood/TREE, combined with the light wood flooring
nice traditional kitchen
