This is awesome storage. Not sure if it would work in our situation. Though, depending on design, we possibly could do something akin to this along the East wall of the kitchen.

As much as I like storage space, this particular setup wouldn't work for us, but I saved it to remind me of two words: ACCESSIBLE STORAGE. Make sure you can reach everything easily OR make sure you have a step stool available.

I'm saving this as a reminder to not make areas of the kitchen which have only one use (like this organization area). It's nice, but when it comes to resale, may not be a positive selling point to have such a restricted use. It's better (to me) to have a space for it, but use removable items (i.e. our dry erase magnetic thingys). Follow what I mean?

I like having a place to sit which is near and/or facing the work area. On another note...why are all the kitchens I like things from "white"? Yeesh...

I could see something like this in our home. The double doors and window placement are similar to our current configuration. I like the openness, but not sure about storage or work areas.
