another multi level deck!

shows the areas we would need. top = grill, small amount of seating, next (I would want more stairs than one) is dining and next is 'gathering' - ours would include fire pit.
why couldn't we have this much space and then steps like these to another 'main' level deck?
This is another way to minimize railing - wide steps. Would help with the jail feeling and also help with the flow into the yard feeling.
planters make it feel more rooftop-like. the less railing the better? What about stairs? how to minimize?
