Simple Idea. The "sculpture" centered along back wall could be a big natural urn fountain. Highlight water urn outdoor landscape lighting. Simple water effect. On off switch even when pool not operating, so can enjoy view and sound from screen porch!.

Have a THICK 2" bluestone step. Add 2 pots of boxwood/flowers on either end.

2 step stone wall benefits: Hides above ground pool. Provides a step into pool. Provides seating. I would continue the step around 3 sides.
