This shaker cabinet does not have any detail around the recessed panel. More clean lines and simple.

An example of a shaker style door with some detailing on the recessed panels. This gives it a slightly more traditional look.
Another example of the black counters on the perimeter and the island is a type of quartz. The quartz almost has a marble design to it.
I'm not a fan of the back splash but thought this gives a good idea of the darker wood tile/stained island/industrial vent hood.
This kitchen has a warmer wood floor with the dark stained cabinet. Notice the perimeter cabinets have the black counters and the island has the white counters.
This flooring looks like the flooring in Bridget Marriott's house. This will give you an idea of the contrast between the floors and a stained kitchen island.
