Minus the shiplap ceiling this is beautiful. There is natural light with a gorgeous fireplace.

I love the black window frames! They compliment the white subway tiles and cabinetry. I would replace the flooring with wood if possible. Then I would find a new oven or at least eliminate the maroon nobs (spelling?) and replace them with black ones.

I would eliminate the shiplap. It doesn't flow with the rest of the kitchen. The farm sink adds character and functionality while the tile backsplash gives the kitchen color. The blue window frames are a nice touch as well.

I like this herringbone design with neutral greys and whites. I would choose different light fixtures though.
