The hardscape material selection and expansive design gives the one story home a street presence in scale with its neighborhood.
Chopper Landscaping
This lovely, circle patio is perfect for long nights in front of the fire. The customer was looking to add an extra curb appeal to their backyard, featuring stone and gravel. We decided to add a circle patio with a seating area and steps to enclosed the future firepit area. We used Belgard Shelton stone in Victorian color.
Lighthouse Outdoor Lighting of Indianapolis
This project required a call of attention to the architectural details of the home as the main visual focal point. Additional lighting was added to the trees to visually anchor the home to the landscaping. All of the lights used are low voltage, LED lights.

Adapt Environment
Following a visit to Sissinghurst, the client asked for a white theme Arts and Crafts herb garden for the courtyard of their barn conversion. An antique pot and reclaimed brick was sourced from a reclamation yard and arranged in formal pattern. Highly scented white Roses, herbs and Lavender were added, as planting.

Landforms
Brighton backyard oasis. Our client had a beautiful home in the woods with an expansive deck and much-unused space underneath. They were looking to create an outdoor living room. With an extensive design, we tripled their outdoor-entertaining area. We added a large dining area, a lounge area under the deck, and a fire pit with a seating wall to keep things cozy on crisp fall nights. We tied the new space to the deck and walkout basement using large format pavers with a contrasting border. A pachysandra border kept the transition from hardscape to softscape neat and clean.
Beyond Landscaping
We created the dry stack stone walls to look like they’ve always been there, making them reminiscent of stone walls in England. By eliminating the steep front steps and adding a landing, this front entrance feels more welcoming. It is overflowing with shade-loving plants for year-round interest.
CA Yardscape
Issue: Client needed additional parking and more space for entry.
Solution: Removed old weathered concrete walk from beside existing driveway. Removed dated and broken light. Used Courtstone from Unilock as accent band while expanding entry and providing additional parking for guests.
