We added both a rainshower head and an adjustable shower head because there was the space, and yes please. The linearly textured porcelain tile laid vertically gives visual height to the shower, which when hit with water becomes rich, dark and dramatic. The silver grout picks up the colors of the brushed nickle shower fixtures, and compliments the grey porcelain niche back.

The Asian feel of the master bathroom is apparent in every detail. Horizontal lines are reinforced throughout via tiered ceiling, under cabinet shelves and glass front cabinets that resemble Japanese room dividers. Striations in the natural stone provide a "zen-like" counterbalance

This typical tract home bathroom was converted into a soothing home spa, inspired by the beauty of the outdoors. The metaphor of Nature (waterfall, pebbles, natural wood tone) was employed throughout to create the feel of being outside. The undermount lighting in the shower and beneath the vanity cabinet further enhance the spa-like ambience at night.

Hand painted, custom ceramic tiles by Vance Perry through Tempest Tile Co create a delicate softness to the brightest room within the room. The back wall is covered with a subtle horizontal grass cloth, and the floor features a linear inset Marmoleum detail, reminiscent of Japanese design. The window shown is made with rice paper, allowing in light while maintaining privacy.
