Teenage boys bedroom. Reconfigured to allow for better flow and a space for a desk. This was achieved by relocating the wardrobe to behind the door on the shortest wall in the room. It is now bright, spacious and comfortable for a teenager.

A last minute decision was made to create a nursery out of an ignored office room. We chose to use colors that worked with the existing carpet but that could also work when that carpet is replaced in the near future. A clean classic color scheme was curated using some items already on hand and some new.

The bold yellows in the rug and tiled fireplace provide a strong graphic contrast to the pretty pale blues, pinks and greens, while mid-century teak pops pleasingly against the blue. Vintage French educational posters in the perfect palette are framed on the walls.
