My youngest client ever! I met this 4 year old's parents when they had me over to take a look at their on going living room project. After working on a couple of spaces in their West Loop building, they had come to know me and my work. We started, instead, with the daughters room. It was a total blank slate. They parents wanted something girly, but not pink, youthful but not toddler, and vintage but not traditional. I understood exactly what this room needed.

Front bedroom with vaulted ceiling to box out window, this accent wall is visible right when you walk in the room. The stencil is from Etsy. Paint color is Benjamin Moore, Hydrangea Flowers over a base color of gray. The stencil was then gone over a second time with a glitter glaze coat to add shimmer to the stenciled areas. Perfect for the little princess in your house! Painting and photo by New World Designers, Inc.

This finished attic became the gathering hub for this growing family. One end of the space became a children's playroom. The home's primary HVAC duct was located along the floor at one gable end. Large storage chests flanking the center window provide plenty of toy storage. Large Palladian windows were installed at either end of the main home gable. An Edwardian terrace in Sydney’s inner west. A beautiful old girl that was so dark and neglected when we first arrived, she needed some life brought back. We used colour on the walls to bring out the beautiful heritage features in this home.

A brighter, bolder color scheme for this teen's updated space with grays, pinks and a pop of floral.

A transitional and contemporary teen girls room. A chandelier that is bursting with flowers. Swing arm sconces are pictures above a white desk. The ceiling is painted red for a pop of color against beige walls and beige carpeting.
