The color and style of this artificial turf perfectly mimics the look of a perfectly manicured back yard. The owners of this Queen Creek, AZ home chose to have the entire back yard covered with artificial turf. This was a clever option as nothing distracts the eye from the pergola, which is the yard’s centerpiece. The pergola flooring and the pavers leading from the home are all of the same style and tone, adding harmony. The turf is bordered with pavers containing decorative gravel. The addition of small shrubs and plants adds more greenery to balance out the entire yard.

On this project our clients knew when they first moved in that the decking looked a little ropy. They took a step out onto the decking to have their foot go straight through it. Ouch… They searched online for advice and found Karl through The Decking Network. Karl visited to carry out a site survey and understand what the client needed. From here he was able to promptly put a quotation together. Once the quotation was agreed this project start to finish took 5 days to remove the old decking, install the new decking and install the custom Accoya ® balustrade. We used recycled plastic posts too, this deck won’t be going anywhere for a long time. The Millboard decking also has a 25-year warranty because it’s installed by an approved installer. Carmel Valley Water Feature

This project showcases a grand custom water feature, beginning with an impressive water wall that flows down through multiple basins, culminating in a vast pond. It is accentuated by several large concrete pads that appear to float over the water, serving as stepping stones to the network of pathways weaving through the yard. Modern and elegant materials were meticulously selected to complement the design, including sleek finishes that enhance the feature's contemporary aesthetic. To highlight the space and integrate it seamlessly with the natural surroundings, a variety of native grasses and plants were chosen, adding both beauty and ecological benefits to the landscape.

Add some decor

If the plants don’t quite do it for you yet, or if you want to add some extra wow-factor, consider adding some extra features. Even if you can’t accommodate a swimming pool, hot tub or pond, you could look at smaller water features. Simple rocks can also have a great effect, while statues and gnomes will add some extra character. Don’t forget to add some furniture so you have a nice place to sit and enjoy your garden!
