Featuring a herringbone mosaic marble for the shower floor, custom bench with quartz top to match the vanity, recessed shampoo niche with matching pencil edging and an extended glass surround, you feel the difference from basic economy to first class when you step into this space ✈️ The Kohler Purist shower system consists of a ceiling mounted rain head, handheld wand sprayer and wall mounted shower head that features innovative Katalyst air-induction technology, which efficiently mixes air and water to produce large water droplets and deliver a powerful, thoroughly drenching overhead shower experience, simulating the soaking deluge of a warm summer downpour. We love the vibrant brushed bronze finish on these fixtures as it brings out the sultry effect in the bathroom and when paired with classic marble it adds a clean, minimal feel whilst also being the showstopper of the space ?

The Studio Z team came together to design a spa-like oasis in place of a dated 1990s bathroom. Clear maple cabinets contain plenty of storage below the double vanity. Large wavy tiles with blue cracked-glass tile inset form the backsplash. Brushed nickel plumbing fixtures and hardware provide an updated look. The paint is Benjamin Moore gossamer blue 2123-40.

This elegant master bathroom features a freestanding soaking tub with three rock crystal pendants suspended above. The floor is in a textured grey porcelain tile and the walls are clad in a Calcutta marble looking engineered slab. For the window above the tub rain glass was added for privacy but still allows ample natural light to flow into the space. The built-in double vanity features a make-up seating area and above the vanity is a wall-mounted lighted mirror. On the vanity wall is a natural shimmery quartzite ledgerstone. The tub wall is covered in a Neolith slab and the opposite wall is covered in a shimmery mica wallpaper. over both undermounted sinks are modern wall-mounted faucets.

On the exterior, the desire was to weave the home into the fabric of the community, all while paying special attention to meld the footprint of the house into a workable clean, open, and spacious interior free of clutter and saturated in natural light to meet the owner’s simple but yet tasteful lifestyle. The utilization of natural light all while bringing nature’s canvas into the spaces provides a sense of harmony. Light, shadow and texture bathe each space creating atmosphere, always changing, and blurring the boundaries between the indoor and outdoor space. Color abounds as nature paints the walls. Though they are all white hues of the spectrum, the natural light saturates and glows, all while being reflected off of the beautiful forms and surfaces. Total emersion of the senses engulf the user, greeting them with an ever changing environment. Style gives way to natural beauty and the home is neither of the past or future, rather it lives in the moment. Stable, grounded and unpretentious the home is understated yet powerful. The environment encourages exploration and an awakening of inner being dispelling convention and accepted norms. This 1930's vintage bathroom was converted back to a vintage bathroom after an unfortunate remodel in the 1960s. The custom made hex tile floor and shower floor brought back that 1930's look. 3 X 12 subway tiles for the walls brought it more up to date. Burnished Gold fixtures from Kohler and a Toto Toilet make it very 2020. Sconces provide lighting for the mirror. The vanity was custom built and the top was a cast iron Kohler top with integrated sink.
