Designed to stay clutter free, the shower features a built in recessed niche & a large bench seat, to organize the homeowners shower products. The two person shower outfitted with 3 showering components, encourages shared time. Showering configurations invite the owners to enjoy personalized spa settings together, including a ceiling mounted rain shower head, & a multi- functional shower head and handheld with a pivot for precise positioning. Vertical wall tiles mixed with blue glass mosaic tiles create visual interest. The pebble floor not only feels amazing underfoot but adds an unexpected twist to this modern downtown retreat.

Bring on the glam! The inspiration started with knocking down walls and moving the bathroom into this space which was the closet! The clients wanted to bring the glam and we created this master piece together. BIG transformation.

This 1926 Portland home was in desperate need of restoration; especially the bathrooms. The homeowners’ desire was to stay true to the authentic tile colors, shapes and layouts that were popular in the Art Deco period of the late 1920’s and 1930’s. Unfortunately, none of the original tile was salvageable with the exception of several small, floral medallions. The original floral medallions became the inspiration for the cheerful blue and yellow master bathroom and were used as accents throughout the room. Photo: Michael K. Wilkinson The reason for the open plan was to maintain natural light throughout the attic. However, the bathroom was a challenge because it has privacy walls. Our designer opted to use continuous clerestory glass panels that wrap around the corner of the bathroom enclosure. These custom glass pieces allow light to flow from the dormers and skylight into the bathroom. The bathroom door is frosted to maintain privacy but also let in natural light. The modern bathroom has a floating dark wood vanity that provides plenty of storage including a laundry basket. The toilet is in a separate room for privacy.

Large contemporary style custom master bathroom suite in American University Park in NW Washington DC designed with Amish built custom cabinets. Floating vanity cabinets with marble counter and vanity ledge. Gold faucet fixtures with wall mounted vanity faucets and a concrete tile accent wall, floor to ceiling. Large 2 person walk in shower with tiled linear drain and subway tile throughout. Marble tiled floors in herringbone pattern.

The "Man's Lav" by Kohler provides an oversized sink for masculine appeal. The contemporary Kohler faucet coordinated with all of the shower components. Laying out the template for the vanity top, we were able to have the dark brown veins in the granite be positioned in the front of the top so it would coordinate with the rich brown color of the vanity.

This beautiful bathroom was created by rearranging two similar sized rooms into one large bath with a separate toilet space. Kohler electronic shower valves operated from key pads add some cool technology to the bathroom space. Very cool cabinetry, hardware, grid glass shower glass and soothing spa colors make this an awesome retreat for the Owners of this Concord MA farmhouse.
