TriBeCa Residence - Master Suite Reconfiguration

This is the Vanity from our Master Suite Reconfiguration Project in Tribeca. Waterworks 'Henry' Fixtures were used throughout in Burnished Brass, which will age beautifully over time. Our GC developed a custom medicine cabinet with a metal frame to match the fixtures perfectly. Shaker Panels with a stepped detail, metal frames & applied mouldings set up a perfectly proportioned composition. Crown moulding was installed set off from the wall, creating a shadow gap, which is an effective tool in not only creating visual interest, but also eliminating the need for unsightly caulked points of connection, and the likelihood of splitting. The custom vanity was topped with a Neolith Estatuario product that has the look and feel of natural Statuary Stone, but better performance from a hardness and porosity point of view. Kelly Wearstler 'Utopia' Sconces and Shades of Light 'Moravian Star' surface lights were chosen to add a bit of flair to the understated transitional aesthetic of the project.

Engaged by the client to update this 1970's architecturally designed waterfront home by Frank Cavalier, we refreshed the interiors whilst highlighting the existing features such as the Queensland Rosewood timber ceilings. The concept presented was a clean, industrial style interior and exterior lift, collaborating the existing Japanese and Mid Century hints of architecture and design. This freestanding tub faces a TV which is mounted on the wall. The tub is centered under a long niche. The niche and tile were designed so the tile grout lines are aligned with the edges of the niche. Metal trim is used to finish off the edges of the tile within the niche. The gooseneck faucet holds a sprayer which is useful for periodic tub cleaning.

Modern Master bath remodel in Broomall PA

These Broomall, PA clients wanted a sleek modern master bath and it turned out great. We chose a Japanese soaking tub for in front of the bathrooms large window. This tub choice gave the client the freestanding tub they wanted and was a great choice for the size of the space. We custom made an expansive floating vanity and linen closet in Asian night finish to fill the adjacent wall with plenty of storage. All new tile was installed throughout the bathroom floors and walk in shower and toilet room. A sliding frameless glass door was added between the toilet/ shower room and the main bath. The clean quartz countertops, full length mirror and all the other fixtures add to the new modern feel.

This large master bath features Arizona Tile's Metalwood Iridio on the shower walls, Bedrosians Hampton Seaside Glass Mosiac tile for the accent tile in the shower, and Emser Tile's Baja Mexicali Mosiac tile in the shower pan. The bathtub is Hydrosystems Studio Whirlpool tub and all faucets in this bathroom are from MOEN. The vanity is from Starmark in their Farmington Cherry Wood with a Java stain. This 1980s house underwent a significant renovation to modernize its spaces, and to make it more conducive to casual entertaining. The living/dining room was made warmer and more inviting with custom lighting fixtures, sheer draperies and built-in bookcases. Also, a glass and walnut screen replaced a solid wall to open the room to the adjoining kitchen/bar area. The kitchen was significantly enlarged and reconfigured, and a dark hallway was opened up and transformed to a wet bar. The upstairs floor was converted to a large master suite with three walk-in closets, a luxurious bathroom with soaking tub and two-person shower, and a private outdoor balcony.
