We were invited to participate in the 2019 Miami Designer Showhouse for Miami Life magazine. Our team designed the master suite including the master bedroom, bathroom, and connecting hallway. We gave both spaces a bohemian, natural, and sophisticated feel. The focal point of the master bedroom is the 6ft mirror hung on the wall next to the bed. It is a breathtaking design feature, and it makes the room feel larger. To make sure that the room feels completely bespoke, we worked with a local wood fabricator to make an accent wall out of angled wood pieces that were painted the same color as the surrounding room. This accent wall is right at the entrance to the master suite, so it sets the tone for a unique and gorgeous space. In the bathroom, we created an oasis by wrapping the entire space in tile and accenting it with bronze finishes in the mirrors and light fixtures. --- Project designed by Miami interior designer Margarita Bravo. She serves Miami as well as surrounding areas such as Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne, Miami Beach, North Miami Beach, and Hallandale Beach. Spa suite? Nah...so much better! Words cannot really describe the incredible transformation of this sleek "decked out" master bath and closet. Ripped down to the bare framing, upgrades include: insulation, windows, skylights, dual head shower, bidet toilet, his and her closets, heated floors, jetted tub (with a view) sensor lighting, drywall, framing, laundry chute, built-ins... and more. The ultimate compliment came from the owners themselves: "we stayed at a very nice hotel in Florida and had a "spa suite" for a few nights. It was decked out well...and Michelle and I both agreed that we missed our bathroom at home. Something we never thought we'd say!

The 2nd floor hall bath is a charming Craftsman showpiece. The attention to detail is highlighted through the white scroll tile backsplash, wood wainscot, chair rail and wood framed mirror. The green subway tile shower tub surround is the focal point of the room, while the white hex tile with black grout is a timeless throwback to the Arts & Crafts period.

The color scheme is key when it comes to decorating any bathroom. In this Medium size bathroom, we used primary calm colors (white and grey) that work great to give a stylish look that the client desire. It gives a great visual appeal while also complementing the interior of the house and matching the client's lifestyle. Because we have a consistent design, we went for a vanity that matches the floor design, and other accessories in the bathroom. We used accent lighting in some areas such as the vanity, bathtub, and shower which brings a unique effect to the bathroom. Besides the artificial light, we go natural by allowing in more natural lights using windows. In the walk-in shower, the shower door was clear glass therefore, the room looked brighter and gave a fantastic result. Also, the garden tub was effective in providing a deeper soak compared to a normal bathtub and it provides a thoroughly relaxing environment. The bathroom also contains a one-piece toilet room for more privacy. The final look was fantastic.
