Designing this spec home meant envisioning the future homeowners, without actually meeting them. The family we created that lives here while we were designing prefers clean simple spaces that exude character reminiscent of the historic neighborhood. By using substantial moldings and built-ins throughout the home feels like it’s been here for one hundred years. Yet with the fresh color palette rooted in nature it feels like home for a modern family.

Here we have the Junior Master bath, with gorgeous tray ceilings, extra storage, double vanities, a walk in shower and beautiful tile and stone throughout. For the countertop we have Vintage Granite with bold veining. The flooring is 16 x 16 brushed Sterling Limestone, which is also used for wainscoting in the bathroom and for the shower walls. The lovely accent border which runs through the bathroom and into the shower is a mini brick and marble called Madison. The pencil liner is the same brushed Sterling Limestone.

This transitional bathroom melds elegance and comfort in a soothing space that rivals any high end spa experience. Neutral grays and whites create a modern color palette that allow the frameless open shower and soaking tub overlooking a stunning landscape to shine as the focal points of the space. White frameless cabinets provide clean, zen ambiance that highlight porcelain wood grain flooring and stacked stone walls. Calacatta quartz countertops offer a polished finishing touch for this magnificent master bath.
