This full bathroom remodel features an accent wall with vertical glass-and-stone linear mosaic. Its neutral tones are carried throughout the bath, giving it a light and inviting feel. The frameless shower glass door helps open up the space, which is great for this shared bathroom as it makes it feel larger than it actually is.

When designer Rachel Peterson of Simply Baths, Inc. first met this young, stylish couple at their house they had a small handful of items they knew they really wanted in their master bathroom: a freestanding tub, a chandelier, a larger shower and more counter space. But the truth was, the bath needed a major face-lift. The space was outdated and lacked personality. It certainly didn't reflect the homeowners and their elegant aesthetic. The combination of stone and wood tiles lends just enough of a rustic flair to bring a little bit of the outdoors in and while helping to balance some of the feminine elements in the room with simple masculine touches. The homeowners wanted a simple, clean, modern bathroom. Sounds straightforward enough. But with a tight budget, a funky layout and a requirement not to move any plumbing, it was more of a puzzle than expected. Good thing we like puzzles! We added a wall to separate the bathroom from the master, installed a ‘tub with a view,’ and put in a free-standing vanity and glass shower to provide a sense of openness. The before pictures don’t begin to showcase the craziness that existed at the start, but we’re thrilled with the finish!

In this master bathroom, we installed Medallion Oak Cabinetry in the Devonshire Reversed Raised Panel Door, Modern Overlay in Cottage White Sheer accented with Crystal bracelet pull and round knobs with Cambria Quartz countertop in Summerhill color. Also installed is an Idell Scalloped decorative 32”x23 ½” mirror. Delta deco accessories in chrome from the Cassidy collection includes one towel ring, one paper holder, two robe hooks, and one 24’ towel bar. A Riona Oval Vessel sink in White and a Delta Cassidy Lavatory Faucet in Chrome was installed. Installed on the walls is 3x6 Arctic White Beveled Gloss tile with an accent of 3x6 Beveled Mirror tiles. A Barclay tub/shower converto unit, shower ring, shower head in chrome with white porcelain accents. On the floor, American Olean Creekwood 6x36 tiles in Walnut Brook color with ditra underlayment setting materials.
