In this master bath, we installed a Vim Shower System, which allowed us to tile the floor and walls and have our glass surround to go all the way to the floor. This makes going in and out of the shower as effortless as possible. Along with the Barn Door style glass door, very simple yet elegant and goes great with the rustic farmhouse feel.

Go through the French doors of the sitting room and you’ll enter the heart of the home – the kitchen and family room. The bright, open family room has a fireplace and wall of windows that overlooks the spacious, fenced back yard with shed. Upstairs, the owner’s suite features a vaulted ceiling, 2 closets and dual vanity, water closet and large, frameless shower in the bath. Unique, playful aesthetic with a pop of color that sets the tone for this delightful guest bathroom. We used a turquoise frame gloss ceramic subway tile that brings an artistic sense of elegance. Paired with Black flowered Matte White flooring, creating a sharp, clean, and high contrast look.

Relocating to Portland, Oregon from California, this young family immediately hired Amy to redesign their newly purchased home to better fit their needs. The project included updating the kitchen, hall bath, and adding an en suite to their master bedroom. Removing a wall between the kitchen and dining allowed for additional counter space and storage along with improved traffic flow and increased natural light to the heart of the home. This galley style kitchen is focused on efficiency and functionality through custom cabinets with a pantry boasting drawer storage topped with quartz slab for durability, pull-out storage accessories throughout, deep drawers, and a quartz topped coffee bar/ buffet facing the dining area. The master bath and hall bath were born out of a single bath and a closet. While modest in size, the bathrooms are filled with functionality and colorful design elements. Durable hex shaped porcelain tiles compliment the blue vanities topped with white quartz countertops. The shower and tub are both tiled in handmade ceramic tiles, bringing much needed texture and movement of light to the space. The hall bath is outfitted with a toe-kick pull-out step for the family’s youngest member!

Dual custom vanities provide plenty of space for personal items as well as storage. Brushed gold mirrors, sconces, sink fittings, and hardware shine bright against the neutral grey wall and dark brown vanities.
