Beside the bed is the way to the washroom. We wanted it bright to make it look larger than its size. The fittings are black but the walls are a powder blue, the cabinets are a genteel shade of lemon and the tiles are a play of our monochromatic colours. Despite the paucity of space, we created a loft, an essential element.

A two-bed, two-bath condo located in the Historic Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, DC was reimagined with the clean lined sensibilities and celebration of beautiful materials found in Mid-Century Modern designs. A soothing gray-green color palette sets the backdrop for cherry cabinetry and white oak floors. Specialty lighting, handmade tile, and a slate clad corner fireplace further elevate the space. A new Trex deck with cable railing system connects the home to the outdoors.

La salle d’eau de 2m2 de cet appartement, à l’origine ouverte sur la chambre, a été totalement rénové et transformée. La pièce a été recloisonnée pour intimiser les seuls toilettes de l’appartement. L’aménagement a été repensé pour optimiser l’espace et les rangements, et fluidifier la circulation. Le travertin a été remplacé par un mix de carrelage hexagonal noir et blanc et d’un sol en béton ciré pour s’inscrire dans un style contemporain. Cette salle de bain bénéficie désormais d’une grande douche (70x120 cm), d’un sèche-serviettes et d’un toilette suspendu. Le meuble vasque a été réalisé sur mesure pour s’adapter à la forme de la pièce.

The vessel sink rests on the counter, its unique shape providing a contract to the patterned tile backsplash. The linen-look tile appears to be wallpaper at first glance. A walk-in shower creates an open, lofty-feel. Nickle-plated bath fixtures compliment the light fixture.

Dark & Sexy Master bathroom *project in process- this is an artistic rendering used to communicate design direction and share options. the client fell in love with this black and white soaking tub and so we built an option around it for him to see,. The floor tile is 12 x 24 black porcelain with a gold inline vertical line- a small but beautiful detail. The shower has mitered edges for a seamless edge effect. Vanities float off of the floor for a clean linear modern aesthetic. White marble is used at the countertop and to highlight the tup area at the floor.

These marble mosaics are so lovely to be in the same room as. Immediately you feel a sense of serenity. I like to think of them as fish scales. My client has a koi pond visible on exiting the bathroom. This was a renovation project. We removed the existing early '90s vanity, mirror and flour light fitting and all the plumbing fixtures. We than tiled the wall and put the new fixtures and fittings back. I love the combination of the black, white and timber with the soft greens of the mosaics & of course the odd house plant!
