The colour scheme feels light and bright and is timeless and elegant. All elements were chosen to reflect a sense of relaxation with the connection to sun, sand and water in mind. TILE SPACE DUNES BLANCO MATT 300X900 POR094 600045 TO ALL OTHER BATHROOM WALLS was chosen to reflect waves and sand dunes. The tiles create such a wonderful look that is subtle yet still very interesting to look at. TILE SPACE TAILORART BROWN 600X600 CSA019 TO KITCHENETTE FLOOR & BATHROOM FLOOR was chosen to reflect a textured fabric, like a blanket used on the beach.

This basement bathroom off a full-time home office needed a lift. The shower and floor tile remained. The original pedestal sink was replaced with a burled wood chest of drawers transformed into a vanity. The semi-vessel sink allowed for use of all but the middle drawer. The countertop and decorative backsplash is a gorgeous light green and taupe quartzite. Polished brass wall faucet, towel bars and sconces provide an elegant feel.

Tones of exotic stone and wood from the rest of the house coalesce in this guest bathroom. The glow of soft light mixes with the textures to create a zen space that is soothing in it's natural glamour.
