This bathroom is a harmonious blend of contemporary design and minimalist elegance. It features a neutral color palette, predominantly in shades of soft grey that evoke a serene and tranquil atmosphere. The vaulted ceiling adds a sense of grandeur and openness to the space, while the geometric chandelier with matte black finish and vintage bulbs creates a striking visual element that draws the eye upward.
The flooring extends the minimalist theme with wood-look tiles in a light grey hue, providing the aesthetic appeal of wood with the practicality of tile. The expansive layout includes a large freestanding cabinet that echoes the shaker-style design of the vanity, offering ample storage while maintaining the sleek look with matte black hardware.
At the heart of the room is the glossy white freestanding bathtub, strategically placed under a window to benefit from the natural light, enhancing the room's airy vibe and offering a relaxing soak with a view. The window treatments are simple, ensuring privacy and allowing light to filter through, contributing to the calming ambiance.
Overall, the bathroom design is meticulously curated to balance style and function, resulting in a luxurious retreat that combines clean lines, refined materials, and thoughtful details to create an inviting and modern sanctuary.
Imperfect Interiors
The loft bathroom was kept simple with geometric grey and white tiles on the floor and continuing up the wall in the shower. The Velux skylight and pitch of the ceiling meant that the glass shower enclosure had to be made to measure.

A two-bed, two-bath condo located in the Historic Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, DC was reimagined with the clean lined sensibilities and celebration of beautiful materials found in Mid-Century Modern designs. A soothing gray-green color palette sets the backdrop for cherry cabinetry and white oak floors. Specialty lighting, handmade tile, and a slate clad corner fireplace further elevate the space. A new Trex deck with cable railing system connects the home to the outdoors.
Gayler Design Build
The objective of these Danville homeowners was to update their primary bathroom, making more efficient use of their existing space without moving any plumbing. With the desired tub and tub filler in mind, Gayler shopped the country to find what the homeowners wanted. Their old soaking tub took up a lot of room, so it was replaced with a new freestanding tub retrofitted with a polished gold tub filler coming up from the floor.
Two large single vanities in a dark stain are topped with white Statuario polished Pental quartz countertops and backsplash. Completing the look is unique polished gold hardware and a large, walk-in shower with a beautiful mosaic feature wall and shower niche. Large wide plank tile floors and soft gray and white patterned wallpaper complete the look.

In this project we took the existing tiny two fixture bathroom and remodeled the attic space to create a new full bathroom capturing space from an unused closet. The new light filled art deco bathroom achieved everything on the client's wish list.

The bath was falling apart. The basic layout was fine but the proportions were all wrong, so the ceiling was lowered at the back half to create a human-scale ceiling height above the shower and toilet room.
The couple agreed on requirements but disagreed on look. He wanted bright bold colors. She wanted muted and calm. They were both happy with blue cabinetry and mosaic glass combined with neutral field tile. The steam shower features a 60” tall blue glass arched niche.

The elegant master bathroom has an old-world feel with a modern touch. It's barrel-vaulted ceiling leads to the freestanding soaker tub that is surrounded by linen drapery.
