The aim of this kid’s bathroom was to go with a high-intensity, low maintenance look. To keep this space fun, we used bright, eclectic colors, such as the blue tile, that would contrast nicely with glistening white, high-quality European tile. Project designed by Skokie renovation firm, Chi Renovation & Design. They serve the Chicagoland area, and it's surrounding suburbs, with an emphasis on the North Side and North Shore. Built in the early 1900s, this brownstone’s 83-square-foot bathroom had seen better days. Upgrades like a furniture-style vanity and oil-rubbed bronze faucetry preserve its vintage feel while adding modern functionality.

Updated 1920s bathroom that pays homage to the original bathroom. 4" subway tiles on all the walls, custom marble console sink, window casing and baseboards.

As a nod to the mountain location, we custom designed this woodland creature print and made a roman shade with a curved detail on the bottom to give the space character. Renovated Bathroom - We added this open storage niche next to the vanity. The addition of shadow boxes added depth and shelving to the storage area. They also transformed it into functional art.

Step 5: Easy-to-Install Flooring: I used two kinds of tile, one solid and one patterned. I arranged the tiles so that the patterned ones were in the center and the solid tiles formed a border around the edges. Master Bathroom with a light and bright upgrade. Another porcelain tile to look like a statuary/calcatta oro marble. 12x24 horizontal brick pattern carries thru wainscot and tub/shower walls. A simple sink and toilet combined with an elegant light fixture and oval mirror compliment the same layout of the other bathroom. Fountain City Studios
