This tiny bathroom is made to feel luxurious and much larger by the inclusion of mirror all around the room. Large tiles reduce the amount of grouting keeping the walls simple. The storage cabinet beneath the sink stands on legs so the floor sweeps under it. All these elements give an illusion of space to a tiny room.

Karissa Van Tassel Photography The lower level spa bathroom (off the home gym), features all the amenities for a relaxing escape! A large steam shower with a rain head and body sprays hits the spot. Pebbles on the floor offer a natural foot message. In this guest bathroom, the combination of stone and wood creates a modern yet inviting space. A free standing vanity with wood cabinets and a marble pedestal sink with coordinating mirror compliment the stone floor and marble wall tiles. Photos by Amy Bartlam.

This little coastal bathroom is full of fun surprises. The NativeTrails shell vessel sink is our star. The blue toned herringbone shower wall tiles are interesting and lovely. The blues bring out the blue chips in the terrazzo flooring which reminds us of a sandy beach. The half glass panel keeps the room feeling spacious and open when bathing. The herringbone pattern on the beachy wood floating vanity connects to the shower pattern. We get a little bling with the copper mirror and vanity hardware. Fun baskets add a tidy look to the open linen closet. A once dark and generic guest bathroom has been transformed into a bright, welcoming, and beachy space that makes a statement.

These repeat clients had remodeled almost their entire home with us except this bathroom! They decided they wanted to add a powder bath to increase the value of their home. What is now a powder bath and guest bath/walk-in closet, used to be one second master bathroom. You could access it from either the hallway or through the guest bedroom, so the entries were already there. Structurally, the only major change was closing in a window and changing the size of another. Originally, there was two smaller vertical windows, so we closed off one and increased the size of the other. The remaining window is now 5' wide x 12' high and was placed up above the vanity mirrors. Three sconces were installed on either side and between the two mirrors to add more light. The new shower/tub was placed where the closet used to be and what used to be the water closet, became the new walk-in closet. There is plenty of room in the guest bath with functionality and flow and there is just enough room in the powder bath. The design and finishes chosen in these bathrooms are eclectic, which matches the rest of their house perfectly! They have an entire house "their style" and have now added the luxury of another bathroom to this already amazing home. Check out our other Melshire Drive projects (and Mixed Metals bathroom) to see the rest of the beautifully eclectic house.
