The upstairs hall bathroom was redesigned within the existing footprint to allow for a more traditional, brighter and open feeling bathroom. Wood wainscot board and batten paneling, recessed medicine cabinet, white hex tile floor, and vintage style fixtures all help this bathroom to feel like it’s always been here. To open up the space, a glass wall replaced the wall at the end of the tub, and the wood paneling seamlessly transitions to white subway tile with a cap at the same height in the shower

Standard Manhattan three piece bathroom was in need of more color and energy. Taking inspiration from the newly painted space an abstract floral shower curtain was installed that included brilliant oranges, greens and blues which helped to brightened up the bathroom.

A remodeled master bathroom that now complements our clients' lifestyle. The main goal was to make the space more functional while also giving it a refreshing and updated look. Our first action was to replace the vanity. We installed a brand new storage-centric vanity that stayed within the size of the previous one, wasting no additional space. Additional features included custom mirrors perfectly fitted to their new vanity, elegant new sconce lighting, and a new mosaic tiled shower niche. Designed by Chi Renovation & Design who serve Chicago and it's surrounding suburbs, with an emphasis on the North Side and North Shore. You'll find their work from the Loop through Lincoln Park, Skokie, Wilmette, and all of the way up to Lake Forest.

When approaching this bathroom renovation we found the original floor tiles in excellent condition and they became the inspiration for the entire concept. We replaced the damaged wall tiles with white painted bead board and updated a clunky, poorly placed sink with this stunning wall mounted model by Porcher. The result is a classic bathroom with a nod to it's 1950's origins. Photo by Jonathan Hayward
