A professional couple wanted a luxurious, yet serene master bathroom/spa. They are fascinated with the modern, simple look that exudes beauty and relaxation. Their “wish list”: Enlarged bathroom; walk-in steam shower; heated shower bench built long enough to lay on; natural light; easy to maintain; modern shower fixtures. The interior finishes had to be soothing and beautiful. The outcome is spectacular!

Inspired by the sugar plantation estates on the island of Barbados, “Orchid Beach” radiates a barefoot elegance. The bath features a full-size hydrotherapy tub below a large picture window looking out to a mature plumeria. The exquisite chamfered wall tile flows through the shower, and perfectly complements the runway of stunning marble penny tile insert on the floor. The master bath opens to reveal the orchid conservatory and meditation space. The orchid conservatory features four walls of lattice with oval portholes, an outdoor shower, lovely seating area to enjoy the beautiful flowers, and a relaxing bronze Cupid fountain. The challenge was to bring the outdoors in with the Orchid Conservatory while maintaining privacy. It is a dream oasis with an indulgent, spacious spa-like feel.

Blonde woods are a great way to capture natural light and a modern look without having to use white cabinets. This long marble vanity is a seamless showpiece with integrated sinks and a dressing table. the oversized mirror reflects all of the light from the casement windows that make the whole room bright and open. a large corner shower with a rainfall shower head and glass surround completes this bathrooms modern luxury feel.

The roll under ADA compatible vanity has a removable panel covering the sink plumbing pipes. This prevents scalding of the user's legs.
