A much-needed update brought this master bath to a light, airy space that included inset cabinet doors for a contemporary and modern feel. The shower is spacious with a rainhead and dual controls, and overhead lighting includes a contemporary chandelier to add a one-of-a-kind feel.

The design brief for this Master bathroom was to create a glamorous light and airy space with double shower, bath and double basins for a couple to use alongside one another. We delivered the design in a contemporary classical style with clean Art Deco influences, and created a double entry shower with glass partition and ceiling roses, a double ended bath set beneath marble, a wall hung WC with concealed cistern, and double basins set beneath an opaque white glass counter combined. Ample storage was provided through both the wall mounted vanity drawer unit and recessed mirrored cabinets. An expansive wall of white gold and white floral mural mosaic is both elaborate and calming, which forms a stunning backdrop to the indulgent shower. The prominent gloss black of the vanity drawers are echoed throughout through accents in both the ebony tap levers and the bezel of the mirrored cabinets to deliver a subtly glamorous yet striking scheme.

This master bathroom features an Americh "boat" white acrylic freestanding tub. The sink is and undermount IPT sink. The vanity is a Sollid Newport style in white with Richelieu pulls and the countertop is a Pental quartz in Sparkling white. The backsplash strip is a Lucente Linear stone mosaic blend called Grazia. The shower has a glass enclosure with a tile niche and glass shelf using the same linear mosaic splash. the tile is a Spectrum Porrima that is laid in a stagger pattern. Photography by Scott Basile

Soft, quiet feel with an exciting custom-made glass mosaic shower floor focal point. Large format Nano glass white tile on the shower walls, niche and floor contribute to the serene feel of the space. Custom shower niche, vanity and full height linen closet take full advantage of the space limitations.

Here is a little Feng Shui 5 element creative cycle explanation. The white tiles and fixtures= Metal element, creates water element which is represented by the color black and dark blue. It's seen in the dark blue glass countertops, black colored grout and black colored aluminum-trim. This water element is there to create (grow) the Wood element = green mosaic and plants next to black water element. Makes sense, maybe. The feel is more important and comes from harmonious color selections and their relation with each other.
