Custom Master Bathroom Remodel

This home in Napa off Silverado was rebuilt after burning down in the 2017 fires. Architect David Rulon, a former associate of Howard Backen, known for this Napa Valley industrial modern farmhouse style. Composed in mostly a neutral palette, the bones of this house are bathed in diffused natural light pouring in through the clerestory windows. Beautiful textures and the layering of pattern with a mix of materials add drama to a neutral backdrop. The homeowners are pleased with their open floor plan and fluid seating areas, which allow them to entertain large gatherings. The result is an engaging space, a personal sanctuary and a true reflection of it's owners' unique aesthetic. Inspirational features are metal fireplace surround and book cases as well as Beverage Bar shelving done by Wyatt Studio, painted inset style cabinets by Gamma, moroccan CLE tile backsplash and quartzite countertops.

Designed by Mark Sleith of Reico Kitchen & Bath in Falls Church, VA in collaboration with Atlantic Deck & Home Renovation, this new master bathroom design features Green Forest Cabinetry in the Park Place door style with White finish, a Cambria Whitney vanity countertop and fixtures from Kohler and Moen. Said the client, "We were appreciative of Mark and his colleagues for their guidance, patience and helping us to achieve the concept we wanted. Mark completed everything with efficiency and worked very well with Chris our contractor. The finished project is elegant, yet functional. Added Mark, "The clients chose a white cabinet as a neutral palate for their eclectic collection of accessories. Глобальной перепланировки достичь не удалось, т.к. практически все стены были несущие. В некоторых местах мы расширили проемы, а именно вход в кухню, холл и гардеробную с дополнительным усилением. Прошли процедуру согласования и начали разрабатывать детальный проект по оформлению интерьера. В дизайн-проекте мы хотели создать некую единую концепцию всей квартиры с применением отделки под дерево и камень. Одна из фишек данного интерьера - это просто потрясающие двери до потолка в скрытом коробе, производство фабрики Sofia и скрытый плинтус. Полотно двери и плинтус находится в одной плоскости со стеной, что делает интерьер непрерывным без лишних деталей. По нашей задумке они сделаны под окраску - в цвет стен. Несмотря на то, что они супер круто смотрятся и необыкновенно гармонируют в интерьере, мы должны понимать, что их монтаж и дальнейшие подводки стыков и откосов требуют высокой квалификации и аккуратностям строителей.

This modern home is artfully tucked into a wooded hillside, and much of the home's beauty rests in its direct connection to the outdoors. Floor-to-ceiling glass panels slide open to connect the interior with the expansive deck outside, nearly doubling the living space during the warmer months of the year. A palette of exposed concrete, glass, black steel, and wood create a simple but strong mix of materials that are repeated throughout the residence. That balance of texture and color is echoed in the choice of interior materials, from the flooring and millwork to the furnishings, artwork and textiles.

Unique to this bathroom is the singular wall hung vanity wall. Horizontal bamboo mixed perfectly with the oversized porcelain tiles, clean white quartz countertops and black fixtures. Backlit vanity mirrors kept the minimalistic design intact.

Timeless and classic elegance were the inspiration for this master bathroom renovation project. The designer used a Cararra porcelain tile with mosaic accents and traditionally styled plumbing fixtures from the Kohler Artifacts collection to achieve the look. The vanity is custom from Mouser Cabinetry. The cabinet style is plaza inset in the polar glacier elect finish with black accents. The tub surround and vanity countertop are Viatera Minuet quartz.
